About Us
Growing up, Indian hair care rituals were an innate part of my identity, though I didn't always appreciate them. Who didn’t hate oiling their hair when they were a kid? Not only did we have to go to school like that, it was their go-to punishment as well if we violated the dress code.
I now look back on those times with a mixture of nostalgia and gratitude. Despite my best efforts to evade the champi, it really helped to thicken my hair and keep it in good condition. It wasn’t until later that I realized just how much these routines, and the resulting strong, healthy hair, impacted my self-confidence and that of the women around me.

Why HairRani?
HairRani was born from a desire to give every woman that feeling—you know the one. The one when you’ve miraculously woken up on the right side of the bed and the hair gods are feeling benevolent. The one where you’ve mastered the perfect style, but it’s 12am and you have nowhere to be, but now you can’t replicate it without a team of stylists and a million products. Our journey began in late 2023, designing and perfecting products, and testing them with women in our community. Each time, seeing their faces light up, witnessing the boost in their self-confidence, and watching how they showed up in the world was extraordinary.
So why HairRani? The name reflects our community! The HairRani woman is one who loves to laugh at herself, spread joy, and feel like an absolute queen. She knows the power of good hair and the confidence it brings.
